| well after running it around the yard it seems like it would be a good puller. i puled some trailer loads of dirt around and i slipped a couple of times going up hill. so i think a set of ags and a set of wheights it would be fine. im just concerned about the transaxle since it is a lt im not sure how much stress it can withold and i dont want to test it since then it wouldnt be a usable tractor while i do mods | |

| As for the throttle you can put a foot pedle on it but if your just getting into it I would stay with the hand lever to keep the cost down. As for the rear end I wouldnt know if it will hold up but most pullers only pull in 2nd gear. As for weights dont use wheel weights cause it will put more stress on the trans that you dont need. Hang them from under the tractor in front of the rear tires and make a braket to hand them on the front to keep the front end down. Tires I am going with 26x10.50x12 lugs but you can run turf tires if your local pulling club allows them. Heres a site to go to and get allot of info from. http://gardentractorpullingtips.com/index.htm | |

| thanks for the replys well this weekend on looking over the tractor i notices a oil leak from the valve cover so i took it off and noticed the gasket was broken so i fixed it and ran it with no leaks now. i drove it around and its fine now. i want to know if i can gear down the transaxle to have more torque. would that be as easy as makeing it faster by changeing the pulleys or do i have to change the gears | |

| i wouldnt mess with the trans putting to much strain on those gears will break them. just useing the speeds you got should be ok just cant shift during a pull youll stop dead ,switching the pullys really will just mess up the tractor if you switch the fron with the back your trans will die(no power) and just makeing the pully ratio 1/1 will mess it up too. | |

| I made a foot pedal for my sears (FROG) puller, easy to make, a small piece of aluminun and a hinge, small piece of steel plate on the side for the cable and thats it, works good. | |

| (Quote) "I am going with 26x10.50x12 lugs", what class are you pulling? All the pulling groups in the western pa and eastern ohio that i know only allow 23x10.50x12 tires for stock classes. | |
